One growing institutional resource

Clinical depth for meaningful research

The resource contains records accumulated through hospital care. It covers registration, encounters, diagnoses, clinical findings, investigations, admissions and treatment programmes.

Patient totals reflect registrations accumulated over time. During dataset preparation, our team links records and reconciles repeat registrations to define your study population. Clinical activity figures count records, so a patient may contribute multiple visits, tests or treatments. Figures are current to October 2026.

Connected clinical domains

Explore relationships between consultations, diagnoses, investigations and treatment, with linked data prepared around your research question.

Years of clinical experience

Many clinical domains span 2017 to 2026, with earlier laboratory and treatment records offering additional depth. Our team helps identify the period best suited to your study.

Prepared for each question

Research datasets are prepared for each question. MRCU works with researchers to agree the population, variables, time period, privacy protections and quality checks needed for the proposed analysis.
