Dr Wandera is a medical officer at Mildmay Research Centre, Uganda, where he also works in the TB clinic at Mildmay Hospital. He has strong clinical and research skills, with experience in TB and HIV care, public health research, and community-based health programs. He has contributed to the development and implementation of research studies in his current role. He often shares with pride that he was named the best intern in the surgical department, an achievement that reflects his hands-on skills and strong clinical judgment.
Outside of work, Dr. Wandera is an adventurous spirit who enjoys pushing his limits. His love for exploring new places and experiences reflects his open-minded and energetic approach to healthcare. He brings passion, curiosity, and dedication to everything he does, making him a valuable part of the Mildmay team and Uganda’s wider health community.
