Mildmay Uganda, established in 1998 as a Centre of Excellence, specializes in comprehensive HIV & AIDS prevention, care, treatment (Mildmay Hospital Uganda), training (Mildmay Institute of Health Sciences), and research services. With a strong commitment to transforming communities for sustainable health, they aim to expand their research capacity through Mildmay Research Centre Uganda, particularly in community-focused studies, as part of their strategic plan.

Mildmay Uganda has invited MicroResearch to conduct 2-week-long workshops that train local healthcare and community workers to do community-based health research to improve the planning and delivery of care.
